System Preparation - Overview
The following information describes preparation of the Starling Monitor for a Monitoring
procedure. This includes positioning the Monitor (including mounting on the Roll Stand or an
IV pole), connecting cables, turning ON power,
etc
.
The system preparation procedures may be performed by personnel who have received system
training from Baxter, and should be carried out in the order in which they are described.
First-time Use
Unpacking of the Starling Monitor as well as all calibration and initial setup procedures are
performed by the user.
Note
No installation or additional procedures are required by the user.
When unpacking the Starling Monitor, care should be taken to avoid damaging the device.
