Monitoring a Patient
Setting or Adjusting Clinical Ranges
The Starling Monitor default Clinical Range settings are the generally-accepted normal ranges.
For each displayed parameter value, the clinician is able to set or adjust the Clinical Range of
normal values (
Maximum and Minimum
limits), as required.
Note
Limits may be set or adjusted during an active Monitoring Session (no need to Pause the Session).
 To Set or Adjust Clinical Ranges
1. Access the Main menu, then from
Session Controls & Settings
, choose Set Required

OR
In the Display window, navigate to the Clinical Range tab, then tap the Settings icon.
The Set Clinical Ranges dialog box opens:
2. Tap a displayed parameter
Minimum
or
Maximum
value, then use the virtual keyboard
to enter the required value.
3. Repeat Step 2 to set or change any other values, as necessary.
4. When done, tap the Confirm Change button.
The Set Clinical Ranges dialog box closes; the newly-defined Clinical Ranges will now
be applied.
