2. Enter the patient’s Hgb measurement, then tap OK to close the dialog box.
The screen now displays the Hgb measurement:
Note The displayed value is labeled (User), indicating it was entered by the user.
The value will become greyed-out once the currently-set Hgb Posting Period has been exceeded
(see below).
Setting the Hgb Posting Period
From a list of options provided, the user is able to select the required period of time for which
an Hgb measurement is displayed. Once the currently-selected period has been exceeded, the
measurement will become greyed-out in the display.
 To Set the Hgb Posting Period
1. Access the Main Menu, then from Session Controls & Settings (SPO
2
sub-menu),
select Hgb Posting Period.
A list of available Hgb Posting Period options opens - Figure 5-22.
2. Select the required Posting Period option.
The Hgb measurement will now be displayed in accordance with the selected Posting
Period.
