Battery Replacement
The Starling Monitor contains internal chargeable batteries.
In the event that replacement of the internal battery pack is required, it is necessary to contact
Baxter Service Center in order to purchase a replacement.

When supplied, the battery pack (which includes
Instructions for Use
) can be replaced by the
Hospital Technician.
Note
In the event of system malfunction, the
Starling
Monitor should be returned to the Baxter Service
Center, or to an authorized Baxter distributor in your area. Contact details for service assistance are
provided in Service Information on page 6-13.
Software Upgrade
For an upgrade to the Starling system software, contact your nearest Baxter International Inc.
representative.
The SW upgrade shall be performed only in accordance with Baxter International Inc.
instructions.
Software/Firmware updates are accepted only if they have a digital signature by Cheetah Medical.
Otherwise, the upgrade will fail.
