Completion of Patient Monitoring
Removing the Starling Sensors
 To Remove the Starling Sensors
1. Disconnect the Starling Patient Cable from the Starling Monitor.
2. Disconnect the Starling Sensor leads from the Starling Patient Cable connectors.
3. Carefully peel each of the Starling Sensors from the patient’s skin.
4. Dispose of the Starling Sensors.

If required, perform the Data Export procedure - for instructions, see Exporting All Monitoring
Sessions - One Patient on page 5-62.
Cleaning the Starling Monitor
For instructions on cleaning the Starling Monitor after use, refer to Cleaning Procedures on
page 6-2.
CAUTION
Dispose of used Starling Sensors in accordance with hospital protocol and local safety regulations.
