Creating a New Patient File
3. Observe the displayed measurement unit options Height (inch or cm) and Weight (lb or
kg). If necessary, access the Main Menu
Session Controls & Settings options, then
select Metric or Imperial, as preferred. Refer to Table 3-1 on page 3-6.
4. Using the virtual keyboard, proceed to enter the required details for the New Patient,
as follows:
a. Tap the ID field, then enter the patient’s ID number.
Use letters or figures, as applicable.
Note:
Maximum length is 15 characters.
b. Tap the Height field, then enter the height (in accordance with displayed
measurement units).
Note:
Maximum length is 7 characters; Height value must be a whole number,
between 1 and 90 ins (or between 2 and 229 cms).
c. Tap the Weight field, then enter the weight (in accordance with displayed
measurement units).
Note: Value must be between 0.2 and 3307.5 lb (or between 0.09 and 1500 Kg).
