Select the desired settings file from the list. The default folder will be C:\Captus3000\Data. To
load a spectrum from a different folder, browse to the desired location, and then select the
file name. To load the settings, click the
button.
Save Counting Setup
The counting setup parameters can be saved without saving the calibration settings (such as
voltage, gain, zero, threshold) so that the “Out of Calibrationmessage window will not
appear.
In order to store the Counting Setup for later retrieval and use, choose Save Counting
Setup from the
button on the menu bar. A dialog box similar to the
Save Spectrum dialog box will appear (as shown in Figure 13-13), but the file extension will
be .csu.
Input the desired file name for the settings. The default folder will be C:\Captus3000_2\Data.
To save the data to another folder, browse to the desired location, then input the file name.
To save the settings, click the
button.
Note: It is recommended that the Save as type: is not changed from Counting Setup Files
(*.csu)
The MCA settings stored in the file will be the Counting Method, Counting Time/Counts and
defined ROIs.
Recall Counting Setup
To retrieve stored counting setup, choose Load Previous Counting Setup from the
button on the menu bar. A dialog box similar to the Load Spectrum
dialog box will appear (as shown in Figure 13-14), but the file extension will be .csu.
Select the desired settings file from the list. The default folder will be C:\Captus3000_2\Data.
To load a spectrum from a different folder, browse to the desired location, and then select the
file name. To load the settings, click the
button.
Restore Current Settings
To reset all settings back to the stored settings from the latest Autocalibration, choose
Restore Current Settings from the
button on the menu bar. All settings
will be restored to the values that were stored during the previous Autocalibration.
