If the Chi-Square value is out of range, check the following:
• The positioning of the rod source, especially for the Probe detector.
• Ensure that there are no other sources (including dosed patients) in the area.
If a problem is found with any of the two items above, then correct the problem and
repeat the Chi-Square Test.
In no problems are found with the above items, the out of range Chi-Square value may
indicate a problem with the counter/timer mechanism of the system or the detector itself.
Contact Capintec’s only Authorized Service Center for service.
QUICK TIPS:

Alt+P on Constancy Test screen after the test is completed.

MDA TEST
CAUTION: Calibration is recommended before making any measurements. Refer to
the AUTO CALIBRATION section on page 5-5.
This test measures counts and calculates activity in the ROI for the isotope selected in the
Setup. The measurement is performed with no isotope placed in the detector, which
therefore gives a value for the Minimum Detectable Activity (MDA).
1. Click the button or press Alt+M on Figure 5-1 Quality Assurance Main
Screen. Figure 5-22 MDA Test Screen will appear.
