Checking the rotation
z Mount magnetic measuring stand.
z Insert dial gauge.
z Apply stylus to the main bearing pin with pre-tension
(arrow) and adjust dial gauge to "0".
z Turn crankshaft evenly and check rotation.

z Remove dial gauge.

Measuring the fit bearing width
z Set micrometer gauge to 38 mm.
z Push the internal measuring device between the test
surfaces of the micrometer gauge and set to "0".

z Measure bearing width with internal measuring de-
vice between thelay-on surfaces of the thrust rings.
