Connecting the fuel injector to the nozzle
tester
z Insert fuel injector in holder.
z Loosen nozzle cap nut approx. 180° with socket
wrench insert (release pressure) and re-tighten.

z Connect the fuel injector to the nozzle tester

Checking opening pressure
z Press down the lever of the nozzle tester slowly with
the pressure gauge connected.
z Read off measured value.
The pressure at which the pointer stands
still or suddenly drops is the opening pres-
sure.
Repeat test 3 times.
