Removing and installing the generator
(V-belt drive)
Commercial available tools:
– V-belt tension measuring
device . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 8115
Attention!
Only test / tighten / renew V-belts when the
engine is not running.
The V-belt tension of new V-belts must be
checked after they have been running for
15 minutes.
Removing the generator
z Disconnect the battery's negative terminal.
z Remove cable from generator.
Note assignment!
- (1) = terminal W
- (2) = terminal D+
- (3) = terminal B+
