Ê If applicable, push the ODD in its bay until the ODD latch engages (see
orange arrow).
Ê Connect the following cables to the ODD and the HDD backplane:
– (1) power cable to ODD (if applicable)
– (2) SATA cable to ODD (if applicable)
– (3) SAS cable to connector "X5" on the HDD backplane
– (4) power cable to connector "PWR (X10)" on the HDD backplane
I If applicable, connect the OOB cable to connector "SMBus" on the
HDD backplane (see figure 53).
