Ê Press the ODD latch in direction of the arrow until it disengages (1).
Ê Pull the ODD out of the bay (2).

Ê Remove the two screws (see circles).
Ê Remove the ODD latch.
Ê If no new ODD will be installed:
Ê Fasten the ODD latch with two screws to the fan bridge (see figure 184).
