7-6-5-4 Control Frame
Contains the user interface elements used for:
• Diagnostic control
• Operator feedback
a.) Execute Button
This button has two modes - each with appropriate text:
* Execute - to start the diagnostic, and
* Abort - to stop a diagnostic
b.) Loop Count
This is an editable text field that will only accept numeric values with 4 digits or less. When the 
button described in Execute Button step a (above) is configured as an “execute” button and 
pressed, the loop count field will be queried to determine the number of times to execute the 
diagnostic.
c.) Progress Indicator
Displays a graphical progress indicator for the user.
d.) Short Text Message
Displays either a starting message or aborting message, as well as the diagnostic completion 
status.
e.) Control Frame Background Color
Initially gray, the Control Frame background color changes upon completion of a diagnostic 
to indicate completion status.
* Fail = Red
*Pass = Green
