the use in control cabinets and machines

Selection of the cable cross-section Please consider the voltage drop under load (according to DIN 18015, part 1: 3%).
Cable and controller protection on the AC side
(L1, L2, L3)
By means of standard commercial fuses.
By means o f fuses in UL-conform plants must have UL approval.
The rated voltages of the fuses must be di mensioned according to the mains
voltage at the site. The activation characteristic is defined with ”H” or ”K5”.
Cable and controller protection on the DC side
(+UG, -UG)
By means o f recommended DC fuses.
The fuses/fuse holders recommended by Lenze are UL a pproved.
For DC group drives or supply using a DC source: Please observe the notes in part F of the systems manual.
Connection of a brake unit When connecting the brake unit to terminals +UG / -UG, please note that the fuses
and cross sections indicated in chapter 3.3.4 do not apply to the brake unit. These
unit-specific data can be obtained from the technical documentation for the brake
unit.

Other standards The compliance with other standards (e.g.: VDE 0113, VDE 0289, etc.) remains the
responsibility of the user.
