CSIP Level 1 Performance Tests: Test and Inspection Matrices
If ECG module is installed then do:
(y) ECG Leads leakage isolation current,
sink (mains voltage applied)
(z) ECG Leads leakage current, source
(single fault)
y = < 50 μA (UL/IEC/CSA)
x = < 50 μA (UL/IEC/CSA)
If test was within the above
limits, the system passes, and
you record the test data.
See NOTE on page 137.
NOTE: It is not necessary
to record the units of mea-
sure, only the numerical
data.
Ste:
(Safety—TEE
and Endocavity
Transducers)
Measure the leakage current of the
transducer, using the test setup described in
“Electrical Safety Tests” on page 143.
< 80% of system case leakage
current (test result “w” from
the S test)
If transducer is within the
above limits, the Transducer
passes, and you record test
data.
Ste(sn):P/x
or
Ste(sn):F/x
(x = μA measured and
sn = last 5 digits of
serial number,
P= Pass and F = Fail)
