Take off the lid (3) of the suction return
filter.
Then lift the metal bracket of the sepa-
rating plate (4).

With a slight twisting motion, take out
the separating plate (4) holding it on the
metal bracket.
The separating plate has a protective
strainer.
Check the inner side of the strainer on
metal chips or other foreign bodies. This
protective strainer filters the hydraulic oil,
e.g. 'sucked' from the hydraulic oil tank
when the filter element is dirty or at low
temperatures.
