Cleaning Procedures
Cleaning the LED Display
It is recommended to clean the Starling Monitor LED Display regularly, as described in the
following procedure. This will help to maintain the LED Display in good condition and ensure
optimal visual clarity during system use.
To Clean the LED Display
1. Verify that power to the Monitor is Off and the AC power cable has been disconnected
from the mains power.
2. Carefully clean the LED Display using any commercially-available screen cleaner.
3. When done, use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth to remove all excess moisture from the
screen.
4. Wait until the LED Display surface is thoroughly dry before turning ON power to the
Monitor.
When cleaning the LED Display, do not use abrasive scouring powders or pads, caustic detergents,
oxide, hypochlorite, lacquer, thinners, ammonia, or acid-based cleaning solutions.
Use of these materials may cause irreparable damage to the Monitor!
Never spray any screen-cleaning solution directly onto the screen!
Spray the solution onto a soft, clean cloth. Do not use paper towels (as they can be abrasive).
