Cleaning Procedures
 To Clean the Starling Monitor
1. Verify that power to the Monitor is Off and the AC power cable has been disconnected
from the mains power.
2. Using a soft, clean cloth dampened lightly with water, clean the Monitor surfaces.
3. Wipe the surfaces with a soft, clean, dry cloth.
4. Wait until the Monitor surfaces are thoroughly dry before turning ON power to the
Monitor.
 To Disinfect the Starling Monitor
1. Verify that power to the Monitor is Off and the AC power cable has been disconnected
from the mains power.
2. Perform Step 2 and Step 3 above to clean the Monitor external surfaces.
3. Using a soft towel or wipe dampened with 70% medical-grade alcohol, disinfect the
external surfaces.
4. Wait until the Monitor surfaces are thoroughly dry before turning ON power to the
Monitor.
CAUTION
To avoid damage to the surface of the Starling Monitor:
 Take care not to scratch the front display while cleaning.
 Avoid excessive pressure when cleaning lettering and printed labeling on the Monitor front, side
and rear panels, as well as the adhesive label on the side panel.
