Miscellaneous Issues
Display is not visible and
clinical data (Cardiac
Output CO levels) cannot
be read.
(Electrical interference
when Monitor is connected
to a mains power outlet).
Cause:
Irregularities or interference in
electrical power to the mains
power outlet.
1. To confirm that it is indeed electrical
interference, disconnect the Monitor from the
mains power outlet and check if the
interference has ceased.
2. Verify the AC power cable supplied with the
Starling Monitor is being used for connection to
the mains power outlet.
If not, disconnect the cable, then connect the AC
power cable supplied with the Starling Monitor.
Use ONLY this cable.
3. If problem persists, connect to a different
mains power outlet.
4. If problem still persists, connect the Ground
Cable (supplied with the Monitor) between the
equipotential connector on the Monitor rear
panel and the Ground connector on the wall.
IMPORTANT: In any event, consult with your
Hospital Biomed Department regarding this
failure.
