Expansion cards and backup units
V CAUTION!
Keep the slot cover for future use.
Always replace slot covers into unused PCI slot openings to comply
with applicable EMC regulations and satisfy cooling requirements.
9.4.1.3 Installing an expansion card
Ê Remove the expansion card from its protective packaging.

accompanying documentation.
Ê If applicable, attach the required slot bracket to the expansion card, see
section "Installing a slot bracket" on page 198.

Ê Carefully insert the expansion card into the desired PCI slot and press down
firmly until it is fully seated in the slot (see arrow).
Ê Fasten the expansion card with the screw (see circle).
Ê If applicable, install SFP+ transceiver modules into the expansion card, see
section "Installing the SFP+ transceiver modules" on page 201.
Ê If applicable, connect internal cables to the expansion card.
