6.3.2 Preliminary steps
Before installing a power supply module, perform the following steps:
Ê Remove the AC power cord from its cable bracket and disconnect it from the
PSU module to be removed as described in section "Disconnecting the
server from the mains" on page 72.
V CAUTION!
In order to ensure uninterrupted operation, observe the following
instructions:
Ê Before disconnecting a PSU module, ensure that sufficient power
supply is available for your system configuration with the
remaining PSU module(s).
Ê Before disconnecting a power supply, ensure that the power
supply module in the first or second slot is still active.
