Front panel and external connectors
Ê Open the side / top cover as described in section "Removing the top cover"
on page 79 (rack server) or "Removing the side cover" on page 88 (tower
server).
Ê Pull out the ID card and open the front cover as described in section
"Opening the server" on page 79.
Ê Remove the air duct as described in section "Removing the system air duct"
on page 100.
Ê Remove the system fan holder as described in section "Removing the
system fan holder" on page 389.
13.2.1.3 Removing the front panel module
Ê Disconnect the front panel cables from the system board as described in
section "Removing front panel cables from the system board" on page 762.
Ê Remove the front panel module from the chassis as described in section
"Removing the front panel module" on page 765.
13.2.1.4 Preparing the front panel module
Ê Remove the front panel module cover from the front panel frame as
described in section "Removing the front panel module cover" on page 768.
