Front panel and external connectors
Ê Remove the air duct as described in section "Removing the system air duct"
on page 100.
Ê Remove the system fan holder as described in section "Removing the
system fan holder" on page 389.
13.2.3.3 Removing the front panel module
Ê Remove the front panel module as described in section "Removing the front
panel module" on page 762.
13.2.3.4 Removing the defective front LAN connector
Ê Remove the defective front LAN connector as described in section
"Removing the front LAN connector" on page 790.
13.2.3.5 Installing the new front LAN connector
Ê Install the new front LAN connector as described in section "Installing the
front LAN connector" on page 780.
13.2.3.6 Reassembling the front panel module
Ê Mount the front panel module cover on the front panel frame as described in
section "Mounting the front panel module cover" on page 769.
13.2.3.7 Reinstalling the front panel module
Ê Reinstall the front panel module as described in section "Installing the front
panel module" on page 771.
13.2.3.8 Concluding steps
Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
Ê Reinstall the system fan holder as described in section "Installing the system
fan holder" on page 390.
Ê Reinstall the air duct as described in section "Installing the system air duct"
on page 102.
Ê Close the front cover and reinstall the ID card as described in section
"Closing the server" on page 112.
