Power supply
6.5.5 Concluding steps
Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
Ê Reinstall the system board carrier as described in section "Installing the
system board carrier" on page 109.
Ê Reinstall the system board as described in section "Installing the system
board" on page 863.
Ê Reinstall all rear expansion cards into their original slots as described in
section "Installing a memory module" on page 593.
Ê Reconnect all cables to the system board. For a complete cabling overview,
please refer to section "Cabling overviews" on page 911.
Ê Reinstall all fan modules and fan holders as described in the related
sections:
– "Installing the system fan holder" on page 390
– "Installing system fan modules" on page 385
– "Installing the rear fan holder" on page 405
– "Installing rear fan modules" on page 392
Ê Reinstall the air duct as described in section "Installing the system air duct"
on page 102.
Ê Close the side / top cover as described in section "Mounting the top cover"
on page 115 (rack server) or "Mounting the side cover" on page 122 (tower
server).
Ê When working on a rack-mounted server, secure it in the rack as described
in section "Sliding the server into the rack" on page 132.
If the server has been completely removed from the rack for maintenance
purposes, reinstall and secure it in the rack as described in section
"Mounting the server in the rack" on page 130.
Ê Reconnect all external cables.
Ê Reconnect the AC power cords to the power supply units and secure them
with PSU cable brackets as described in section "Connecting the server to
the mains" on page 133.
