10.5 Crane operation with main boom

If removing the load does not cause the lock to be released, you must lock
the telescoping cylinder (
à p. 10 - 105) and then restart unlocking.
Lock telescoping
cylinder
The telescoping cylinder must be locked to a telescopic section so that the
telescopic section can be telescoped.
Prerequisites
– Telescoping mechanism on – symbol (3)
green
– Telescopic section locked – symbol (1)
green
– Telescoping cylinder unlocked – symbol (2)
red
Locking
• Move the telescoping cylinder to the desired
locking point, e. g. to telescopic section
1.
Wait until the display:
– shows the desired telescopic section (1)
and
– the symbols (4) are shown.
• Select the symbol (3).
• Confirm the selection – the locking pins (2)
will extend – symbol (2) green.

Risk of damage to the boom system!
If extending and retracting several times does not lead to the lock being
released, you must not telescope any further against the stop.
