11.8 Outrigger operation

From the
control units
If the hand-held control is connected, the Outrigger operating units are
inactive.
Start the engine
• Remove the hand-held control if necessary, and start the engine from the
driver's cab;
à p. 4 - 14.
You can also start the engine from the control units;
à p. 11 - 25.
Switching on the lighting
Only the lamp (1) lights up after opening the
door.
• Press any button.
The lights are switched on.
Moving the outrigger beams

You can only operate the outrigger beams to the left and right of the control
unit on the operator's side.
• Observe the safety instructions for operating the outrigger beams;
à p. 11 - 45.
• Press the button
• Additionally press the button for the desired
outrigger beam.
The outrigger beams move until you let go of the respective button or until
the respective end position has been reached.
5 For high-speed mode
6 For normal speed.
1 Extend left
2 Retract left
3 Retract right
4 Extend right
1 + 4 Extend both
2 + 3 Retract both
