Replacing a Node
Power Supply
This section describes how to remove and replace a power supply in the
DXi6900 G1 Node. If a power supply fails, you will be notified by a
service ticket in the remote management console.
Caution: Use appropriate ESD precautions, including the use of a
grounding strap, when performing this procedure.
Removing and replacing a power supply in the Node includes the
following steps:
• Identifying a Failed Power Supply in the Node
• Removing a Failed Power Supply from the Node
• Installing a Replacement Power Supply in the Node
Identifying a Failed Power Supply in the Node
The DXi6900 G1 Node contains two hot-swappable power supplies (see
Figure 50).
