4 Insert the controller air blocker into the open controller slot to make
sure that correct airflow is maintained.
Installing a Replacement Array Module Controller
To install the replacement Array module controller:
1 Remove the BBU from the failed Array module controller and install
the BBU in the replacement controller (see
Replacing an Array
Module BBU on page 208).
2 Remove the controller air blocker from the controller slot.
3 Slide the replacement Array module controller into the empty bay
until the controller snaps into place, and push the handles into the
closed position (see
Figure 129).
4 Connect the SAS cables to the new controller (see Cabling Diagrams
on page 241):
5 Run Factory Detect Hardware from the Service Menu to detect the
new hardware (see
Factory Detect Hardware on page 44).
Array module controller handles
