Gathering Collect Logs

Note: The file /scratch/collect.zip always points to the last collect
generated.
Collect Log: Syscli To gather a collect log using the syscli, use the following command:
syscli --gen dialog [--system] [--quiet] [--lastgen]
Options:
--gen: Generates diagnostic log.
--system: Generates the system diagnostic log.
--quiet: Do not display status while generating log.
--lastgen: Display the last date the diagnostic log was generated.
To download the most recently generated collect log to the current
directory, use the following command:
syscli --download dialog [--system]
Options:
--download: Download current diagnostic log to the current directory.
--system: Download the system diagnostic log.
Collect Log: Service
Menu
To gather a collect log using the Service Menu:
1 Connect to the DXi6900 G1 Node (see Connecting to the DXi6900
G1 Node on page 32).
2 At the command prompt, type the following command and press
<Enter>:
/opt/DXi/scripts/service.sh
The Service Menu displays (see Figure 31).
