Installing a Replacement Hard Drive Backplane
To install the replacement hard drive backplane in the DXi6900 G1
Node:
1 Use the hooks at the base of the chassis as guides to align the hard
drive backplane (see
Figure 98 and Figure 99).
2 Slide down the hard-drive backplane until the release tabs snap into
place.
3 Connect the SAS data, signal, and power cables to the backplane.
4 Replace the cooling fan assembly (see Removing and Installing the
Cooling Fan Assembly on page 224).
5 Install the hard drives in their original locations (see Replacing a
Node Hard Drive on page 90).
