8 Remove the heatsinks and processors (see Replacing the Processor
and Heatsink on page 153).
WARNING: The heatsink and processor are hot to the touch for
some time after the system has been powered down.
Allow the heatsink and processor to cool before
handling them.
9 Remove the memory modules (see Replacing a Node Memory
Module on page 103).
10 Remove the network daughter card. (see Replacing the Network
Daughter Card on page 148).
Installing a Replacement System Board
To install the replacement system board in the DXi6900 G1 Node:
1 Transfer the following components to the new system board:
Release pin
System board
System board holder
Support bracket (not present
on all systems)
