3 Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen one of the heatsink retention
sockets (see
Figure 94). Wait 30 seconds for the heatsink to loosen
from the processor.
4 Loosen the second heatsink retention socket.
5 Lift the heatsink away from the processor and set the heatsink
aside.

Caution: The processor is held in its socket under strong
pressure. Be aware that the release lever can spring up
suddenly if not firmly grasped.
6 Position your thumb firmly over the processor socket release lever
near the unlock icon, and release the lever from the locked position
by pushing down and out from under the tab (see
Figure 95).
