b Grasp the 6 Gb SAS card in Slot 6 by its edges, and remove it
from the expansion card connector. Removing the SAS card in
Slot 6 will allow access to Slot 7.
c Grasp the expansion card in Slot 7 by its edges, and remove it
from the expansion card connector.

2 Install the 16 Gb Fibre Channel card in Slot 7:
a Holding the card by its edges, position the card so that the
connector on the expansion card aligns with the expansion card
connector on the riser (see
Figure 74).
b Insert the card-edge connector firmly into the expansion card
connector until the card is fully seated.
c To install a full length card, use the supports provided on the
cooling shroud.
