1 Install the half-height 16 Gb Fibre Channel card in Slot 3:
a Holding the card by its edges, position the card so that the card
edge connector aligns with the expansion card connector (see
Figure 73).
b Insert the card edge connector firmly into the expansion card
connector until the card is fully seated.
c Close the expansion card latches.
d Install the expansion card riser (see Figure 72).
IReplace the Full-Height Fibre Channel Cards
To swap the full-height 8 Gb Fibre Channel card with a 16 Gb Fibre
Channel card from the DXi6900 G1 Node:
1 Remove the 8 Gb Fibre Channel card in Slot 7:
a Lift the expansion card latch out of the slot (see Figure 74).
