Obtaining a
Replacement Network
Daughter Card
Before beginning the replacement procedure, make sure that you have
the required replacement kit. The appropriate replacement network
daughter card will be provided by Quantum Customer Support (see
Figure 89).
You will need the following items to perform this procedure:
• Replacement network daughter card kit provided by Quantum
Customer Support.
• #2 Phillips screwdriver
• ESD grounding wrist strap (included in the replacement kit)

This section describes how to remove and replace the network daughter
card in the DXi6900 G1 Node.
Caution: Use appropriate ESD precautions, including the use of a
grounding strap, when performing this procedure.
