Removing a Failed CMOS Battery from the Node
To remove the failed CMOS battery from the DXi6900 G1 Node:
1 Shut down the system (see Turning On and Shutting Down the
System on page 23).
2 Remove the Node cover (see Opening and Closing the Node on
page 78).
3 Locate the failed CMOS battery on the Node motherboard (see
Figure 62).

4 To remove the battery, support the battery connector by pressing
down firmly on the positive side of the connector (see
Figure 63).
