❖ Program/Change/Delete E-mail Message
You can program, change, or delete the e-mail message used when sending
scan file as an attachment.
• Program/Change
A Press [System Settings].
B Press [File Transfer].
C Press [Program/Change/Delete E-mail Message].
D Press [Program/Change].
E Press [Not Programmed].
F Press [Change].
G Enter a name, and the press [OK].
Enter the name using up to 20 alphanumerical characters.
H Press [Edit].
To start a new line, press [OK] to return to the e-mail message screen,
and then press [T] in "Select Line to Edit:".
I Enter the text, and then press [OK].
Enter up to five lines of text. Each line can consist of up to 80 alphanu-
meric characters.
J Press [OK].
K Press [Exit].
• Delete
A Press [System Settings].
B Press [File Transfer].
C Press [Program/Change/Delete E-mail Message].
D Press [Delete].
E Select the e-mail message to delete.
The confirmation message about deleting appears.
F Press [Yes].
❖ Auto Specify Sender Name
Set whether or not to specify the name of the sender when sending e-mail.
•On
If you select [On], the specified e-mail address will appear in the “From:"
box. If you do not specify the sender’s address, the administrator’s e-mail
address will appear in the “From:" box.
• Off
If you select [Off], the specified e-mail address will appear in the “From:" box,
but you cannot send e-mail without specifying the sender’s e-mail address.
