Alarm Messages
Message Possible Cause(s) Possible Solution(s)
Carton Flight Chain
Overload Fault
The tension of the carton flight
chain drive has exceeded the
allowable limit.
MAKE SURE THE MACHINE IS
E-STOPPED BEFORE
CHECKING FOR AND/OR
REMOVING OBSTRUCTIONS
TO CLEAR THIS ALARM!
This alarm is triggered by a
mechanical clutch. Any number of
obstructions in the carton flight
area of the machine (including
torn or mangled cartons) may
cause the carton flight chain clutch
to trip in order to prevent damage.
Check and clear any obstructions.
If the problem persists, the tension
of the carton flight chain may need
to be adjusted.
Carton Magazine
Empty/Jammed Fault
The carton magazine has
detected a missing or jammed or
carton blank.
After the machine stops, open the
guard doors and determine the
reason. Make adjustments, if
necessary. The guides feeding the
cartons or the guides in the carton
magazine may need adjusted.
Close the guard doors and press
the Machine Ready pushbutton to
prepare for operation.
Coupon Feeder Fault The coupon feeder has
experienced a fault condition.
Refer to the operator’s manual for
the coupon feeder. Clear the
fault, then press the MACHINE
READY push-button to reset the
machine.
