Alarm Messages
Message Possible Cause(s) Possible Solution(s)
Loader Area 1 Jam
Fault
One or more pusher faces on
the barrel loader are not aligned
properly with one or more of the
infeed conveyor buckets causing
jams at infeed area of the Barrel
Loader.
After the machine stops, open the
guard doors and clear the mis-fed
bags. Mark the two or three
pusher faces and buckets that
may have caused the issue. Jog
the cartoner in order to determine
the reason for the jam and make
adjustments, if necessary.
The most likely adjustments
needed will be a barrel loader
height adjustment (mechanical
adjustment of the prox) or barrel
loader offset adjustment
(accessed via the HMI). Check for
other alignment issues as needed.
Close the guard doors and press
the Ready pushbutton to prepare
for operation.
Loader Area 2 Jam
Fault
Bags are jammed in the exiting
area of the Barrel Loader.
After the machine stops, open the
guard doors and clear the mis-fed
bags. Determine the reason for
the jam and make adjustments, if
necessary. Close the guard doors
and press the Machine Ready
pushbutton to prepare for
operation.
NOTE: All bags must be cleared
from the Barrel Loader area
(including buckets and carton
flights) or jams will occur on
startup.
