The CONTROL ROOM monitoring source selector has 20 freely assignable keys
for quick selection of the most important sources. The key of the selected
source is illuminated. Only one source at a time can be selected (unless ADD
is active). Every input and every master sum signal, N–X, and PFL can be
assigned via the configuration tool to any key in order to be monitored.
Pressing the ï‚‚ key selects the source indicated by the eight-character display.
With the SELECT rotary encoder to its right, each configured source can be
directly selected and immediately listened to. If a source different from ‘’
is selected, the display is half-lit, but rotary selection is still possible.
Control Room Speakers Three keys are used to control the CR monitoring loudspeakers:
DIM The level of the CR monitor speakers output is dimmed (attenuation is con-
figurable, default value 20 dB). DIM is illuminated if the DIM function has
been activated either by the DIM key or by one of the TALKBACK keys.
CUT The CR monitor speakers output is muted. CUT is illuminated if active.
As long as one of the microphones in the control room is on (with configura-
tion ‘Sign. = CR’), the CR monitor speakers are automatically muted and the
CUT key is illuminated.
