3.2 Studio Integration
The OnAir 3000 is based on a very flexible concept with a multitude of
configuration possibilities. This allows integration in nearly all studios and
situations without hardware modifications. A short overview of typical instal-
lations is listed in the following paragraphs.
3.2.1 Control Room with up to Three Studios
The OnAir 3000 system can handle a main and a split desk (located in the
news studio A in the drawing above). The split desk features a second PFL
circuit for a completely independent program, although the same resources
and output buses from the same Compact SCore are used.
Talkback to any location is possible. Selection of the monitoring sources in
the studios is done either by a studio talkback box or from the desk in the
control room.
