5.13.5 Remote Configuration Tool - Tools Menu
The “Tools” menu is only available in the standalone Configuration Tool.
5.13.5.1 Change System
Change System opens the system selection dialog that allows to select a sup-
ported DNet system.
5.13.5.2 Export/Import Labels
The Configuration Tool supports import and export of labels using CSV for-
matted files. A CSV formatted file is an implementation of a delimited text
file, which uses a tab (originally comma) to separate values. Providing such
files allows to easily edit labels in an editor of choice (e.g. Excel).
Export to a CSV formatted file To export a CSV formatted file, connect to a system in the Configuration Tool
and click the menu “Tools – Export Labels”. The filename for the exported
file is suggested in the format “yymmdd systemname.txt” (e.g. 081022
P2K5_192.txt). Nevertheless any filename of choice can be used. An exported
file looks as follows:
Version: Route6000 V2.0, build 2
Product: Route6000
System Name: Star 6000
Type: RLogicalInputs
1 RLI 1
2 RLI 2
384 RLI 384
Type: RLogicalOutputs
1 RLO1
2 RLO2
384 RLO384
(Example: Route6000 with 384 RLI and 384 RLO)
