6.6.3 AoIP.XML
Network Definition The AoIP.XML file is used to specify networks to be managed by the AoIP
extension.
The following settings can be specified per network:
NetworkName The NetworkName must be unique.
All connectors, using the same NetworkName in the Connector Definition
within the D21m.XML are assumed to be in the same network.
StreamAdvertisementAddress The multicast group address where network nodes advertise their Streams
Protocol Specifies the protocol dll for a network. Currently available are:
  •LivewirefortheLivewirenetworks
  •AoIPDemoNetworktosimulateaLivewirenetwork
A protocol must not be used in different networks, except for “AoIPDemoN-
etwork”.
NumberOfGroups Streams coming from one or more network nodes using the the same host
name are grouped. This is usually a device like a Axia Node or Studer Core
with several AoIP cards.
NumberOfGroups shall be set according to the maximum number of devices expected in the
AoIP network
