The monitoring and TB module contains the
CR loudspeaker controls, the DJ headphone
controls, controls for the built-in PFL/TB/
MPXspeaker,keysfordirectaccesstothe
monitoring sources and external sources, and
keys for talkback to destinations different
fromtheN–Xbuses(theseareaccessibleby
keys in the fader strip), slate, keys for defin-
abletalkbackgroupsandforuserandMPX
conference functions. A 6.3 mm TRS jack for
the DJ headphones is integrated as well.
The ON AIR, CR, and studio 1...3 lamps indi-
cate red light for open microphones. Next
to these lamps a talkback microphone is
installed if required.
A selection of different monitoring modules
as well as an additional 5.1-channel surround
monitoring panel is available, depending on
the application. Please refer to chapter 5.5.4.
4.10 Main Screen Module
The main screen module includes the
central TFT touch screen and four
rotary encoders with tactile feedback
(patented); two keys are provided for
stop watch control. At the right of the
rotary encoders the slot for the CF
memory card is located; since SW
V3.0, an additional USB socket is
provided at the module’s rear side.
During normal operation, the follow-
ing items are constantly displayed
(top to bottom) in the left part of the
screen:
• A real-time clock withconfigu-
rable time and date indication (for
details refer to chapter 5.9.1)
• Twostereobargraphmeterswith
130 segments each and configu-
rable/selectable tap points and
configurable characteristics (for
details refer to chapter 5.4)
• The fader stopwatch that can
be configured to count the open
time of any fader, as well as an
additional stopwatch/countdown
timer operated with hardware
keys (for details refer to chapter
5.9).
