Headphones Amplifier Box This compact headphones amp can be fitted
on top of or under the table with respective
mounting brackets, next to a guest. It may be
connected directly to a line output of the
D21m I/O system and features a local ampli-
fier with volume control. In addition a talk-
back signal with separate volume control can
be enabled and brought to the guest head-
phones, heard in split mode and controlled
via a GPO signal.
GPIO Switch Boxes
Three different general-purpose desktop boxes are avail-
able in the OnAir 3000 design; one of them with an
illuminated key (‘Start Box’ A943.049600, see left), one
with an additional LED (‘Mic Box’ A943.049400), and
one with three additional LEDs (A943.047400). They
can be used for applications such as ‘cough’ key or con-
trol of external devices, etc. The keys may directly be
connected to GPIs, the LEDs to GPOs, and configured
for their respective task in the configuration menu (refer to chapter 6.5.29).
Editor Module
The editor module is an
extended 3-fader module
that includes a subset of
monitoring/TB functional-
ity and keys for the assign-
ment of the rotary function.
Eight freely configurable
keys each for monitoring
source selection and talk-
back destination, four con-
figurable keys for rotary
functions such as input
routing, gain, etc. and
volume control for editor
headphones, guest head-
phones and loudspeaker
volume allow for a stand-
alone working environ-
ment, e.g. for a journalist or
editor. In a typical applica-
tion up to four editor mod-
ules may be connected to a
standalone SCore for an
editorial and production
office. The journalist or
editor may connect his
recording device contain-
ing the interviews via a
D21m stage box to the
SCore, edit it on an editor
workstation and mix it with the three faders for his final contribution. Via the
SCore and the Net option he has access to all configured audio sources in the
OnAir 3000Net environment.
