Error Messages
Problematic Results –
Movement or Sensor Problem
Reason:
This message will only appear
for 5 seconds at the end of a
Monitoring Session when the
device is unable to report
reliable results after
measurement update due to
long periods of excessive
movements or long periods of
Sensor disconnections.
Cause:
Starling Patient Cable or one or
more of the Starling Sensors
were not connected properly to
the Starling Monitor, or to the
patient, and/or the device
detected patient or cable
movements that excessively
distorted the signal.
The user should discourage excessive cable or
patient movements, or minimize as much as
possible cable movements.
The user will be alerted to sensor or cable
disconnections; if these occur, take corrective
action as soon as possible.
NIBP module is not recognized.
NIBP functionality will be
disabled. Please contact a
Baxter support representative.
Cause:
NIBP Module is disconnected
from the device or it stopped
functioning.
