Display Settings menu
To display: At the printer control panel, select the Administration menu, and then select the Display Settings
menu.
In the following table, asterisks (*) indicate the factory default setting.
NOTE: For the M553x model, use the Save button to save a selected option.
For all other models, use the up arrow button or down arrow button to highlight an option, and then
press the OK button to save the selected option.

Use this item to select a dierent

Hide Date and Time
Select whether to display or hide
the date and time on the control
panel Home screen.
Inactivity Timeout Range: 10 – 300 seconds
Default = 60 seconds
Species the amount of time that
elapses between any activity on
the control panel and when the
printer resets to the default
settings. When the timeout
expires, the control-panel display
returns to the Home menu, and
any user signed in to the printer is
signed out.
