Tray 2 media type detection
The printer selects the optimal print mode based upon the media type detected by the media sensor. The
media sensor consists of an optical sensor, which detects the surface texture of the paper, and an ultrasonic
sensor, which measures the thickness of the paper.
Following are the print modes detected by the printer:
