Displaying HCM Alarms
If a single HCM installed in a routing platform fails, no alarm can be sent. However,
if it is a dual system, the following alarm is displayed when the backup Routing
Engine takes over.
Action To view an HCM alarm when the backup Routing Engine takes over, use the
following CLI command:
user@host> show chassis alarms

Verifying HCM Failure
Action To view current HCM status when the backup Routing Engine takes over, use the
